Writing Craft Workshops:

Lost Your Pants? The Impatient Writer’s Guide to Plotting a Story

Lost Your Pants coverDo you write by the seat of your pants?
Do you want to write faster?

This workshop teaches a minimalist approach to story development to accommodate “pantsers” (those who write by the seat of their pants) while still establishing the big picture for the plot and character arc. By the end of this class, students will have enough direction to make “Fast Drafting” techniques work for them.

The class identifies the basic “need to know” plot points and character development steps that even a pantser can use. Attendees will receive several tools (worksheets and beat sheets) developed especially for pantsers.

Would be interested in the Lost your Pants workshop though not sure out here on the ranch with a very slow DSL I could access it. Price will make a difference too since ranching sure hasn’t been very profitable.

Jami Gold March 9, 2016 at 3:14 pm

Hi Kim,

Here’s the link to the FAQ Support answers for the online meeting technology I use. These specifications are for live classes, and recordings would be less, as that would just be a matter of patience. 🙂

For my Lost Your Pants workshop, if the live webinar is too much for the connection, I send out recording links to the attendees later that same day so everyone gets a chance to ask questions. Thanks for asking!
